- If any issues after applying patch and rollback is required, run

For Standalone JDeveloper install type, shutdown JDeveloper and ensure that Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also stopped.
For Standalone WLS install type, ensure that WebLogic server is stopped.
Applying Patch 20265562
- Unzip the patch zip file
$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p20265562_111170_Generic.zip
- $ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui
- Run OPatch apply
- For Standalone JDeveloper install type, start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also started.
- For other install types including standalone WLS, restart Admin Server and Managed Servers.
Patch De-installation
If any issues post patching and rollback is required, follow below steps:
- Change to the directory where the patch was unzipped.
$ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui
- Run OPatch rollback
$ opatch rollback -id 20265562
- Clean contents of tmp directory from $DOMAIN_HOME\servers\DefaultServer\tmp for standalone Jdeveloper installs and from $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/[servername]/tmp for Admin and Managed Servers of other install types
- Start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded WLS Server is also started

- Download Patch 20265562 ( p20265562_111170_Generic.zip )
- Set environment variable ORACLE_HOME to $MW_HOME]/oracle_common
- Stop services
For Standalone JDeveloper install type, shutdown JDeveloper and ensure that Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also stopped.
For Standalone WLS install type, ensure that WebLogic server is stopped.
Applying Patch 20265562
- Unzip the patch zip file
$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p20265562_111170_Generic.zip
- $ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui
- Run OPatch apply
- For Standalone JDeveloper install type, start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also started.
- For other install types including standalone WLS, restart Admin Server and Managed Servers.
Patch De-installation
If any issues post patching and rollback is required, follow below steps:
- Change to the directory where the patch was unzipped.
$ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui
- Run OPatch rollback
$ opatch rollback -id 20265562
- Clean contents of tmp directory from $DOMAIN_HOME\servers\DefaultServer\tmp for standalone Jdeveloper installs and from $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/[servername]/tmp for Admin and Managed Servers of other install types
- Start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded WLS Server is also started

- This patch needs to be applied to AdminServer's $MW_HOME/oracle_common which includes fix for all local managed servers. Also for any remoted managed servers, apply patch on all remote $MW_HOME/oracle_common as well.

- Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to JRF home.
eg: $MW_HOME]/oracle_common

- Download p21768251_121200_Linux-x86-64.zip and copy to server staging area say PATCH_TOP with appropriate permissions.
Before installing patch
- Ensure all patch pre-requisites specified in patch README are met
- Set the environment variable ORACLE_HOME to your product installed directory.
for example: export ORACLE_HOME=/sid/1212mwhome
- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Server(s))
Applying patch 21768251
- Unzip the patch zip file into the PATCH_TOP.
$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p21768251_121200_Linux-x86-64.zip
- Set your current directory to the directory where the patch is located.
$ cd PATCH_TOP/21768251
3. Run OPatch to apply the patch.

Applying Patch 17337741: OSS SECURITY PATCH UPDATE 11.1.1.7.0 (CPUOCT2013)
Applying Patch 17337741: OSS SECURITY PATCH UPDATE 11.1.1.7.0 (CPUOCT2013)
- Download Patch 17337741 (p17337741_111170_Linux-x86-64.zip - choose relevant platform) - OSS SECURITY PATCH UPDATE 11.1.1.7.0 (CPUOCT2013)
- Copy the patch onto staging area say PATCH_TOP with proper permissions.
Please note this patch is not required if applying the merge Patch 19849290
- Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable e.g. "[MW_HOME]/Oracle_WT1" directory
- Stop all servers (AdminServer and all Managed servers).
Applying the patch
- Unzip the patch zip file and set current directory to patch location
$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p17337741_111170_Linux-x86-64.zip
$ cd PATCH_TOP/17337741
- Run OPatch to apply the patch.
$ opatch apply
- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Server(s))
Rollback patch
If any issues post patching and a roll back is needed, follow below steps
- Stop the services (Admin and Managed servers)
- Change to the directory where the patch was unzipped.
$ cd PATCH_TOP/17337741
3. Run OPatch rollback command
$ opatch rollback -id 17337741
- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)
