Patch 17191718 conflicts with existing patch 20715966 when trying to fix error java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.Exception: MDSLockedSessionManager already registered. Can't register more than one.

If applying patch 17191718 to fix errors as below, it will conflict with existing patch 20715966 in the Oracle Home.

- Unzip the patch

- Stop MT Services

- cd PATCH_TOP/21665104/oui

- Apply patch

$ opatch apply

- Verify patch applied

$ opatch lsinventory |grep 21665104


- Start MT Services

- Download Patch 19926333 (p19926333_111178_Generic.zip)

- Set ORACLE_HOME to SOA Home, $MW_HOME/Oracle_SOA1

- Shutdown all servers (AdminServer and Managed Servers)

Apply Patch 19926333

- Unzip the patch

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p19926333_111178_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/19926333/oui

- Run opatch apply

$ opatch apply

- Restart all servers (AdminServer and all Managed Servers)

Patch De-installation

- Update worklist application using app server application update tool.

- Restart all servers (Admin and Managed Servers)

Patch De-installation

If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Shutdown all servers (Admin and Managed Servers)

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/17412297/oui

- Run OPatch rollback

$ opatch rollback -id 17412297

- Restart all servers (Admin and Managed Servers)

For Standalone JDeveloper install type, shutdown JDeveloper and ensure that Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also stopped.

For Standalone WLS install type, ensure that WebLogic server is stopped.

Applying Patch 20265562

- Unzip the patch zip file

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p20265562_111170_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui

- Run OPatch apply

- For Standalone JDeveloper install type, start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is also started.

- For other install types including standalone WLS, restart Admin Server and Managed Servers.

Patch De-installation

If any issues post patching and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Change to the directory where the patch was unzipped.

   $ cd PATCH_TOP/20265562/oui

- Run OPatch rollback

$ opatch rollback -id 20265562 

- Clean contents of tmp directory from $DOMAIN_HOME\servers\DefaultServer\tmp for standalone Jdeveloper installs and from $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/[servername]/tmp for Admin and Managed Servers of other install types

- Start JDeveloper and ensure Embedded WLS Server is also started

- Verify the patch

$ opatch lsinventory (on both JRF Home and WebCenter Home)

- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Patch De-Installation

If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

$ cd PATCH_TOP/18334433/oui

3. Run OPatch rollback (on both JRF Home and WebCenter Home)

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

i) Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable to $MW_HOME/oracle_common

Pre-requisites

- Ensure Patch 16702086 SOA BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.1.6.7 is already applied

- Set Environment variables, ORACLE_HOME to SOA_HOME, PATH, etc

Applying Patch 12596488 on SOA Suite Home

- Unzip the patch zip file 

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p12596488_111167_Generic.zip

- Shutdown all servers (AdminServer and all Managed Servers)

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/12596488/oui

- Run opatch apply

$ opatch apply

- Restart all servers (AdminServer and all Managed servers)

Patch De-Installation

If any issues after applying the patch and a rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Shutdown all servers (AdminServer and all Managed Servers)

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/12596488/oui

- Run opatch rollback 

$ opatch rollback -id 12596488

- Restart all servers (AdminServer and all Managed servers)

Applying Patch 12596488 on JDeveloper Home

- Set ORACLE_HOME to your "[MW_HOME]/jdeveloper" directory.

- Shutdown JDeveloper and make sure that the Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is
 also stopped.

Applying Patch on JDev Home

- Unzip the patch zip file into the PATCH_TOP.

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p12596488_111167_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/12596488/sa

$ opatch apply -jdk [Path to jdk] -jre [Path to jre]

- Start JDeveloper and make sure that the Embedded WLS Server is also started.

Patch De-Installation

If any issues after applying the patch and a rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Shutdown JDeveloper and make sure that the Embedded/Integrated WLS Server is
 also stopped.

$ opatch rollback -id 12596488

- Clean tmp directory contents from the domain

[JDEV_USER_DIR]\DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\tmp\* 


- Start JDeveloper and make sure that the Embedded WLS Server is also started.
