FMW 11.1.1.9.0 - Applying Patch 22511786: WebCenter Portal Bundle Patch 11.1.1.9.160119(ID:160107.0701)

FMW 11.1.1.9.0 - Applying Patch 22511786: WebCenter Portal Bundle Patch 11.1.1.9.160119(ID:160107.0701)

- Download Patch 22511786 (p22511786_111190_Generic.zip)

Applying Patch 22511786

- Apply this bundle patch on both ORACLE_HOMEs:

      * [MW_HOME]/oracle_common  (JRF Home)
      * [MW_HOME]/Oracle_WCP1    (Webcenter Portal Home)

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers

- Unzip the patch

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p22511786_111190_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/22511786

- Run opatch apply on both ORACLE_HOMEs (JRF Home and WCP Home)

$ opatch apply

- Start all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Post-Patch Instructions

- Update the WebCenter Portal Extension Bundle for JDeveloper

The extensions named "WebCenter Portal - Framework" and "WebCenter Portal Task Flow Customization Framework" should have a version 11.1.1.9.0.160107.0701

- Fix for Bug 20132344 and Bug 20132372

i) Stop Spaces managed server

ii) Clean old classfiles of scripts and scripthandlers.

rm -f $ORACLE_HOME/common/wlst/*.class
rm -f $ORACLE_HOME/common/script_handlers/*.class

touch $ORACLE_HOME/common/wlst/11.1.1.9.0

iii) Start Spaces managed server

iv) To rename users, use command synchronizeUserInformation and operationType - RENAME_USERS_FROM_MAPPING_FILE.

Patch De-Installation

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/22511786

- Run opatch rollback from both ORACLE_HOMEs (WCP_Home and oracle_common Home)

$ opatch rollback -id 22511786

- Remove WebCenter Portal Extension Bundle for JDeveloper updated after patching

- For Bug 20132344 and Bug 20132372

i) Stop Spaces managed server if running

ii) Clean old classfiles of scripts and scripthandlers.

rm -f $ORACLE_HOME/common/wlst/*.class
rm -f $ORACLE_HOME/common/script_handlers/*.class

touch $ORACLE_HOME/common/wlst/11.1.1.9.0

iii) Start Spaces managed server

- Start all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

FMW 11.1.1.7.0 - Apply Oracle Virtual Directory Patch 17391582: OVD FOR IAM1112 BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.1.7.1

- Download Patch 17391582 (p17391582_111170_Generic.zip)

- Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to JRF Home $MW_HOME/oracle_common

- Stop OVD instance.

- Stop WLS Admin Server and all Managed Servers.

Applying patch 17391582

- Unzip the patch

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p17391582_111170_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/17391582

- Run OPatch apply

$ opatch apply

- Start OVD instance

Patch De-installation

If any issues post patching and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Stop WLS Admin Server and all Managed Servers

- Stop OVD instance


- $ cd PATCH_TOP/17391582 

- $ opatch rollback -id 17391582

- Delete this directory and its contents 

$MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/[DOMAIN_NAME]/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default

- Restart WLS Admin Server and all Managed Servers

- Restart OVD instance

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/18334433/oui

- Run opatch apply on JRF Home and WebCenter Home

i) Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable to $MW_HOME/oracle_common

$ opatch apply

ii)Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable to $MW_HOME/oracle_WC1

$ opatch apply

- Verify the patch

$ opatch lsinventory (on both JRF Home and WebCenter Home)

- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Patch De-Installation

If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

$ cd PATCH_TOP/18334433/oui

3. Run OPatch rollback (on both JRF Home and WebCenter Home)

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

i) Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable to $MW_HOME/oracle_common

- opatch rollback -id 18334433

ii) Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable to $MW_HOME/oracle_WC1

- opatch rollback -id 18334433        

- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers

Pre-requisities

- Download Patch 18748961 ( p18748961_111170_Generic.zip )

- Ensure patch pre-requisites as highlighted in the patch readme file are met

- This patch needs to be applied to AdminServer's $MW_HOME/oracle_common which includes fix for all local managed servers. Also for any remoted managed servers, apply patch on all remote $MW_HOME/oracle_common as well.


Applying Patch 18748961

- Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to JRF  home.
  eg: $MW_HOME]/oracle_common
   
- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

- Unzip the patch zip file into the PATCH_TOP.

$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p18748961_111170_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/18748961

- Run OPatch to apply the patch.

$ opatch apply

- Start all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Patch De-installation

If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

-  $ cd PATCH_TOP/18748961

- Run OPatch to rollback patch

   $ opatch rollback -id 18748961


- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Applying OPSS 11.1.1.6.3 Patch 18629534 included in Patch 19157616: ORACLE IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SUITE BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.2.1.5

Applying OPSS 11.1.1.6.3 Patch 18629534 included in Patch 19157616: ORACLE IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SUITE BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.2.1.5

- Download Patch 19157616: ORACLE IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SUITE BUNDLE PATCH 11.1.2.1.5 (p19157616_111210_Generic.zip)

Patch 19157616 (p19157616_111210_Generic.zip) includes patches for components:

- OES 11.1.2.1.1

- OPSS 11.1.1.6.3

- OAM 11.1.2.1.4

- OAAM 11.1.2.1.3

- Copy p19157616_111210_Generic.zip onto the server staging area say PATCH_TOP with appropriate permissions.

- Download the latest version of OPatch (11.1.0.9.0 or higher) via Patch 6880880 (p6880880_111000_PLATFORM.zip)

- Unzip the patch file into the PATCH_TOP directory.

unzip -d $PATCH_TOP p19157616_111210_Generic.zip

- cd /PATCH_TOP/19157616/OPSS/18629534

Apply OPSS 11.1.1.6.3 Patch 18629534:

- Stop all servers including the Admin Server and all Managed server(s).

i)Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to MW_HOME/oracle_common directory. (JRF Home)

- Run opatch apply:

$ opatch apply  (For 64-bit, opatch apply -jre Path_to_ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre)

ii) Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to MW_HOME/Oracle_oesclient directory. (OES Client (Security Module) Home)

Run opatch apply:

$ opatch apply  (For 64-bit, opatch apply -jre Path_to_ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre)

- Start all servers including the Admin Server and all Managed server(s).


Rollback OPSS 11.1.1.6.3 Patch 18629534:

If any issues encountered after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Stop all servers including the Admin Server and all Managed server(s).

- Change to the directory in which the bundle patch was unzipped.

$ cd PATCH_TOP/19157616/OPSS/18629534

Run opatch rollback as below:

i) Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to the oracle_common directory.

Run the following command:

- opatch rollback -id 18629534

 (For 64-bit, opatch rollback -id Patch_ID -jre Path_to_ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre )

ii) Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to the oracle_oesclient directory.

Run opatch rollback as below:

- opatch rollback -id 18629534 

(For 64-bit, opatch rollback -id Patch_ID -jre Path_to_ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre )

- Start all servers including the Admin Server and all Managed server(s).

- Stop all servers (AdminServer and all Managed server(s))

FMW 11.1.1.7.0 - Applying Patch 13866584: PS2,PS5:ORACLE.WEBSERVICES.STANDALONE.CLIENT.JAR:DUPLICATE ENTRIES:LICENSE.TXT

- Unzip the patch zip file into staging area eg: PATCH_TOP
   
$ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p13866584_111170_Generic.zip

- Stop MT Services

- Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to the JRF Home,
  eg: $ export ORACLE_HOME=/SID/fmw/product/112/oracle_common

- Backup "oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar" 
   

Eg:

mv $ORACLE_HOME/modules/oracle.webservices_11.1.1/oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar $ORACLE_HOME/modules/oracle.webservices_11.1.1/oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar.ORIG

Applying the patch
- cd PATCH_TOP/13866584 and copy oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar from patch to target location
   
- cp oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar $ORACLE_HOME/modules/oracle.webservices_11.1.1/oracle.webservices.standalone.client.jar
  
- Start MT Services

Key Enterprise Manager features such as monitoring, security and logging are not available because the Java Required Files (JRF) template has not been applied to the server.

Key Enterprise Manager features such as monitoring, security and logging are not available because the Java Required Files (JRF) template has not been applied to the server. 

- Login to Enterprise Manager Console

- Go to Weblogic Domain -> <Domain_Name>

- Click on Admin Server (also check all the managed servers too)

- If JRF Template has not been applied, you should see the message as above & Apply JRF Template button should appear.

- Click on "Apply JRF Template" for Admin server & respective managed servers where this has not been applied & restart Admin & Managed servers.

- You should now be able to see the Admin & Managed server monitoring stats as below in Enterprise Manager.

- Normally JRF template should be selected when creating or extending weblogic domain by running config.sh
