WLS 12.1.2.0.0 - Applying Oracle WebLogic Server Patch 18289179: SETTING MAX-OPEN-SOCK-COUNT REQUIRES ENTITY REBOOT

- Download Patch 18289179 (p18289179_121200_Generic.zip)


Applying Patch 18289179


- Set environment variables ORACLE_HOME, PATH, etc

- Stop MT Services

- Unzip the Patch

$ unzip -d p18289179_121200_Generic.zip

- Run opatch apply

$ cd PATCH_TOP/18289179

$ opatch apply

- Verify patch

$ opatch lsinventory |grep 18289179

- Restart MT services

Patch Rollback

If any issues after applying patch and rollback is required, please follow below steps:

- Stop MT services

- Run opatch rollback

$ cd PATCH_TOP/18289179

$ opatch rollback -id 18289179


- Restart MT services
