- Stop MT services (Admin Server and all Managed servers)

- Apply Patch
$ opatch apply
- Start MT services (Admin Server and all Managed servers)
Patch rollback
- If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Unzip the patch and copy the contents to $MW_HOME/utils/bsu
unzip -d p18412312_1036_Generic.zip
- Stop MT Services
- Apply Patch 18412312: SU Patch [SY38] on each WLS Home
$ cd $MW_HOME/utils/bsu
$ ./bsu.sh -prod_dir=$MW_HOME/wlserver_10.3 -patch_download_dir=$MW_HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir -patchlist=SY38 -verbose -install
- Restart MT Services

Installing WLS PSU 10.3.6.0.13
- Unzip and copy contents of the patch zip file except README file to $MW_HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir/
- $ cd $MW_HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir/
- Take backup of existing patch-catalog.xml and rename the one copied from patch zip file to patch-catalog.xml
- Apply the patch using Smart Update Utility
$ ./bsu.sh -prod_dir=$MW_HOME/111/wlserver_10.3 -patch_download_dir=$MW_HOME/111/utils/bsu/cache_dir -patchlist=S8C2 -verbose -install
- Start MT services
- Verify WebLogic Server PSU

If any issues after applying the PSU, follow below steps to remove / uninstall it.
- Stop MT services

- Run below bsu.sh command

- Restart MT services

WebLogic Server 10.3.6.0.13 PSU Patch for BUG21984589
Removing WLS PSU 10.3.6.0.13
If any issues after applying the PSU, follow below steps to remove / uninstall it.
- Stop MT services
- cd $MW_HOME/utils/bsu
- Run below bsu.sh command
$ ./bsu.sh -remove -patchlist=S8C2 -prod_dir=$MW_HOME/111/wlserver_10.3
- Restart MT services

Applying Patch 21364493: WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.2.0.7
Applying Patch 21364493: WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.2.0.7
- Download and unzip Patch 21364493 (p21364493_121200_Generic.zip) onto the server where patch is to be applied.
- Ensure all patch pre-requisites documented in patch README file are met before applying the patch
- Unzip the patch
unzip -d PATCH_TOP p21364493_121200_Generic.zip
where PATCH_TOP is the staging area on the server with appropriate permissions
- Set environment variables:
export ORACLE_HOME=<oracle_home_path>
export JAVA_HOME=<java_home_path>
Apply latest Opatch
- Check for the current Opatch version and apply latest OPatch Patch if required
$ opatch version
$ cd $ORACLE_HOME
$ mv OPatch OPatch_<ddmmyy>
$ unzip /sid/PATCH_TOP/p6880880_131000_Generic.zip
$ export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$PATH
$ opatch version
- Validate OUI inventory
$ opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
Apply WLS PSU 12.1.2.0.7 Patch 21364493 for WLS 12.1.2
$ cd /sid/PATCH_TOP/21364493
$ opatch apply -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Verify if patch was applied
$ opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Start mid-tier services and perform post patching health checks
Patch rollback
Post 21364493: WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.2.0.7 patching, if any issues are encountered and a rollback is required, follow below steps
- Stop mid-tier services
- cd <PATCH_TOP>/21364493
- Run OPatch to deinstall the patch.
$ opatch rollback -id 21364493 -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Start services

- Download and unzip Patch 21364493 (p21364493_121200_Generic.zip) onto the server where patch is to be applied.
- Ensure all patch pre-requisites documented in patch README file are met before applying the patch
- Unzip the patch
unzip -d PATCH_TOP p21364493_121200_Generic.zip
where PATCH_TOP is the staging area on the server with appropriate permissions
- Set environment variables:
export ORACLE_HOME=<oracle_home_path>
export JAVA_HOME=<java_home_path>
Apply latest Opatch
- Check for the current Opatch version and apply latest OPatch Patch if required
$ opatch version
$ cd $ORACLE_HOME
$ mv OPatch OPatch_<ddmmyy>
$ unzip /sid/PATCH_TOP/p6880880_131000_Generic.zip
$ export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$PATH
$ opatch version
- Validate OUI inventory
$ opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
Apply WLS PSU 12.1.2.0.7 Patch 21364493 for WLS 12.1.2
$ cd /sid/PATCH_TOP/21364493
$ opatch apply -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Verify if patch was applied
$ opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Start mid-tier services and perform post patching health checks

Pre-requisites:
Ensure WLS10.3.6.0.12 PSU (Patch Number: 20780171 , Patch ID :EJUW) is already applied
Applying Patch 18084750
- Download the patch 18084750 and copy it to the staging area of the server
To install the patch, follow below steps:
- unzip p18084750_1036012_Generic.zip to {MW_HOME}/utils/bsu/cache_dir or staging area (ensure appopriate permissions are set & take backup of cache_dir)
- {MW_HOME}/utils/bsu
./bsu.sh -install -patch_download_dir={MW_HOME}/utils/bsu/cache_dir -patchlist={PATCH_ID} -prod_dir={MW_HOME}/{WL_HOME}
- If any patch conflicts with existing PSU patch, uninstall existing patch and re-attempt patching
- Restart MT services after applying patch
- Verify the latest version of WebLogic
$ . $WL_HOME/server/bin/setWLSEnv.sh
$ java weblogic.version
To unistall the patch, follow below steps:
- Stop MT services
- Navigate to the {MW_HOME}/utils/bsu directory.
- Run ./bsu.sh -remove -patchlist={PATCH_ID} -prod_dir={MW_HOME}/{WL_HOME}
- Start MT services

Applying Patch 20844228: WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.2.0.6
Pre-Installation Instructions:
- Check if OPatch version is 13.1 or higher
- Ensure access to valid OUI Inventory by running opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Validate the executables in system PATH after setting $ORACLE_HOME by running 'which opatch', 'which unzip'
- Make sure WebLogic services are down including Admin & Managed Servers if any.
- Download & copy the patch to PATCH_TOP (any staging directory with proper permissions)
Applying the Patch
1. Unzip the patch unzip -d PATCH_TOP p20844228_121200_Generic.zip
2. cd PATCH_TOP/20844228
3. Apply patch by running opatch apply -jdk $JAVA_HOME
4. If patch successful, verify patch applied by running opatch lsinventory | grep 20844228 & start all the services
5. If patch fails for some reason, roll back the patch by running
$ opatch rollback -id 20844228 -jdk $JAVA_HOME

Applying Patch 20474010: SU Patch [S8H6]: SPURIOUS HARVESTING OF CONNECTION BY WLS POOL
Pre-Installation Instructions:
- Check if OPatch version is 13.1 or higher
- Ensure access to valid OUI Inventory by running opatch lsinventory -jdk $JAVA_HOME
- Validate the executables in system PATH after setting $ORACLE_HOME by running 'which opatch', 'which unzip'
- Make sure WebLogic services are down including Admin & Managed Servers if any.
- Download & copy the patch to PATCH_TOP (any staging directory with proper permissions)
Applying the Patch
1. Unzip the patch unzip -d PATCH_TOP p20844228_121200_Generic.zip
2. cd PATCH_TOP/20844228
3. Apply patch by running opatch apply -jdk $JAVA_HOME
4. If patch successful, verify patch applied by running opatch lsinventory | grep 20844228 & start all the services
5. If patch fails for some reason, roll back the patch by running
$ opatch rollback -id 20844228 -jdk $JAVA_HOME
