FMW 11.1.1.6.0 - Applying Patch 17634864: MERGE LABEL REQUEST ON TOP OF 11.1.1.6.0 FOR BUGS 16810628 16224473

- Download Patch 17634864 ( p17634864_111160_Generic.zip )

- Ensure Patch 13866584 is already applied.

- Ensure all patch pre-requisites as highlighted in readme file are met

Applying Patch 17634864

- Set the JRF_HOME environment variable to JRF home.
  The default location is : "[MW_HOME]/oracle_common"
   
- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Server(s))

- Unzip the patch zip file into the PATCH_TOP.

   $ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p17634864_111160_Generic.zip

-  $ cd PATCH_TOP/17634864

- Run OPatch to apply the patch

   $ opatch apply

- Start all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

Patch De-installation

If any issues after applying the patch and rollback is required, follow below steps:

- Stop all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Server(s))

- Change to the directory where the patch was unzipped.

   $ cd PATCH_TOP/17634864

- Run OPatch to deinstall the patch.

   $ opatch rollback -id 17634864
                          
- Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Servers)

- Ensure the patch for bug 13866584 (mandatory patch for release 11.1.1.7.0) has already been applied before you proceed with the current patch.

- Download and unzip the patch p16810628_111170_Generic.zip to staging area PATCH_TOP

Applying the patch

- Set Environment variables

export ORACLE_HOME=/SID/fmw/product/112/oracle_common
export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$PATH

- cd /PATCH_TOP/16810628

- opatch apply -jre $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre

- Start MT services

Rolling back the patch

- To rollback the patch in case of any issues post patching, 

opatch rollback -id 16810628 -jre $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre


- Restart MT services
