FMW 12.1.3.0.0 Additional steps for Bug 18706071: SUPPORT FOR CREDENTIAL STORE FOR CLOUD CONNECTORS IS MISSING IN OSB after applying Patch 20900599 (SOA Bundle Patch 12.1.3.0.3) or Patch 21885138 (SOA Bundle Patch 12.1.3.0.4)

After applying Patch 20900599: SOA Bundle Patch 12.1.3.0.3, or Patch 21885138 (SOA Bundle Patch 12.1.3.0.4), follow below steps for Bug Fix 18706071 to take effect,

1. Log in to Fusion Middleware Control Enterprise Manager.

2. Expand "Weblogic Domain" in the left panel

3. Right click on the domain you want to modify and select Security > System Policies to display the page System Policies.

4. In the System Policies page, expand "Search". For "Type" select "Codebase", for "Includes" enter "jca" and click the arrow button.

5. Select "jca-binding-api.jar" in the search returned result and click "Edit".

6. In the "Edit System Grant" page, click on "Add".

7. In the "Add Permission" page, click on "Select here to enter details for a new permission" and enter the following:

Permission Class:oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialAccessPermission
Resource Name: context=SYSTEM,mapName=SOA,keyName=*
Permission Action: *


8. Click on "OK" to save the new permission.

- Download Patch 21885138 (p21885138_121300_Generic.zip)

Applying Patch 21885138

- Ensure all patch pre-requisites are met as documented in Patch README file.

- Stop all MT services (AdminServer and all Managed server(s)).

- Patch 20163149 is recommended for performance improvement.

- unzip the patch

 $ unzip -d PATCH_TOP p21885138_121300_Generic.zip

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/21885138

- Run OPatch to apply the patch.

   $ opatch apply

Verify patch

$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch lsinventory|grep 21885138

- Start all MT services

For Bug Fix 18706071 to take effect,  refer to this post.

Patch De-installation

If any issues post patching and rollback is required, please follow below steps:

- Stop MT services

- $ cd PATCH_TOP/21885138

- Run OPatch to deinstall the patch.

- $ opatch rollback -id  21885138

- Start all MT services
