Download OPatch patch of version 11.2.0.3.11 for Oracle software releases 11.2.0.x (JUN 2015) Patch p6880880_112000_LINUX.zip

Copy the latest OPatch version to staging area; for example let's say /stage

cd /stage/

unzip p6880880_112000_LINUX.zip

cd /ORACLE_HOME/

Rename existing older version of OPatch

mv OPatch OPatch_old

Copy latest version of OPatch from staging area.

cp -r /stage/OPatch .

Verify the latest OPatch version.

./opatch version

Opatch version is also displayed after running ./opatch lsinventory command
