• Trying to login to Oracle BAM but getting an error message?

AUTHENTICATIONEXCEPTION_STARTPAGE_STARTUP_INITIALIZE : BAM-00400: Authentication failed

• What do the logs say?

      => error messages in the BAM logs

java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (oracle.security.jps.JpsPermission IdentityAssertion) at  java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(AccessControlContext.java:323)

• Have you checked the system-jazn-data.xml if it has an entry for bam?

• Now what? Try below:

- cd $MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/domain_name/config/fmwconfig

- Backup original system-jazn-data.xml

- Edit system-jazn-data.xml 

At the end of the file before the tag /jazn-policy, add below (sorry adding screenshot was the only option due to blogger syntax issue)

- Restart BAM server
